Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage patient calls with various medical concerns; perform assessments and provide advice.
- Offer guidance on chronic disease, medication management, and mental health issues.
- Direct patients to appropriate healthcare providers and ensure follow-up care as needed.
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to standards, documenting patient information, and managing prescription refills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to case management improvements.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance, resolve patient issues, and make sound decisions in urgent situations.
Requirements of the role
- NCLEX-RN Certified with 3-5 years of recent Telephone Triage or Call Center experience; Illinois RN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (e.g., physician’s office, home health, critical care, ER).
- Must have active passport; visa, flight, and $1,500 relocation package provided.
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and active listening when interacting with patients.
- Skilled in clinical assessment, determining medical attention needs, and offering self-care advice.
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Records, Microsoft Office, and typing with speed and accuracy.
